with autolube the nipples are removed, so no chance of them blocking. Still needs a weekly look over to check pipes etc, but if they are protected in vulnerable areas, they are reliable system.Grease? Get ready for the “it’s a dairy farm” jokes.
I thought auto lube was a great idea, but a mechanic I spoke to recently wasn’t so keen, reasoning if a nipple blocked or a pipe came off, the part wouldn’t get any grease, versus the grease gun .
