New track.

Hi. I am looking at possibly buying a 4.7acre field. The access is at the bottom of the field and I would need to lay a track to the top of field. Approx 150mtrs in length. It would only be used by my van a few times a week. What would be the best materials to use for this? Crushed and rolled stone/concrete or type 1 aggregate on top? Also does anybody have any ideas on cost for the excavation and installation of a track please? Thanks in advance.

You many need planning, and how about digging a borrow pit, is that possible. Cheapest way.
Thanks for reply. A borrow pit is not tlreally an option I don’t think. The field is bordered on all sides with hedgerows and the field not visible. What are the pre requisites for planning? In a conservation area perhaps?
