i was under the impression it had to go to a test centre and have Iva approval to check it complying to dimensions for under run bars and lights ectIf it’s for ag it doesn’t need type approval. Just do some structural calculations to make sure it’s strong enough, and give the dimensions and weights to Erentek or Tractair to make sure the brakes are correctly sized.

Some were type approved for hgv use , farm ones were not as they did not need it , but were built the the same spec apart from the H/D ring hitch , if you buy new axles you get all the info along with them to do the job, ours are more than likey over speced for what they doBuild and go or did you have them inspected
