En la feria Agritechnica, se escucharon rumores sobre una nueva serie de Valtra llamada Q, intermedia entre T y S que comparte transmisión con MF y Fendt. ¿Alguien escuchó algo sobre este tema?

In English;

At the Agritechnica show, rumors were heard about a new Valtra series called Q, an intermediate between T and S that shares transmission with MF and Fendt. Did anyone hear anything about this?

Si is it gonna be same tranny as massey is developin currently with vario option or just fendt vario. Be shame if they dont use thier own vario as its unique to valtra which gives them a good sellin point

But why launch another tractor with fendt vario when there other 2 stablemate manufactures offer this. Betr to keep ther own vario after the money invested in designin it and to offer somethin different

Depends how the manufacturing costs and warranty costs stack up on the direct vs the vario. If the vario is more reliable, cheaper to build or even if there’s nothing in it it will make sense to streamline things and just offer the one option.

Downside is that it’s not long before they’re making 3 different tractors that are basically the same underneath but then again, CNH are allready doing that.

VW group are the masters at mixing and matching major components under different skins and brand names. It gives them a massive unit cost advantage and they cover all customer demographics with a product for every taste and pocket, all with a very limited number of chassis, engine and transmissions offered.
