Only a guess as our ford is not that model, ours has a handbrake buzzer if it’s not put on, at what seems all times, you say you checked the handbrake wiring so it’s likely you ruled this out but it’s my guess.

our model requires the handbrake to be on, and reminds with a constant bleep, when not in gear.
If yours is doing the opposite then sounds like the sensor in the gearbox or levers for the gearbox, has got shifted or if wired backwards if that’s possible.
I am not a ford mechanic but if it’s not acting as it normally does, and you have ruled out the hand brake switch then look at the switch that tells when it’s out of gear or not.
Hope you find it.

I would think it's related to hand brake switch, from memory they have 3 wires, so if not the switch some of the wires, it's maybe got a relay aswell to switch buzzer on when ignition turned off.

Yes, the buzzer on these comes on if you stop the engine with the handbrake off and if this is faulty I suppose it could sound the buzzer. Same goes for the fuel tank low fuel warning buzzer which is a pain in the arse on many jobs once the level gets down to half a tank, even when it works as it should.
If I could find the buzzer I'd castrate it.

If it's anything like my TM175.... the alarm goes off for no reason, used to drive me up the wall..... 2 things, intermittent fault on the seat sensor not reading right and thinking no one is in the seat ( not sitting perfectly central) and sometimes the slip alarm goes off for no reason. Worth rocking around on the seat to see if it makes any difference and look on the dash to see if the slip alarm is flashing.

I don't believe that there is a seat sensor in an 8560, unless it was a factory option. For what purpose was it added to the larger TM series?

I have no idea why they fitted them to the TM, but they all have it as far as I know. I'm guessing that if it senses no one on the seat for long enough it would kill the engine or put tractor in neutral? Never let it bleep long enough to find out what it does, to be honest.

TM s would get a seat switch for safety reasons, if you caught the shuttle lever on way out of a 60 series away it would go
Why didn't they just link it to the handbrake like MF do?
It's academic now of course because Mother Regulations [who first called it that and why?] impose all kinds of extra safety and inconvenience features on new tractors.
