Have been seeing this on various social media platforms for a while, finally got round to watching some of it.
Is there any mileage in this sort of thing for large acreage areas, or is it another concept that will eventually be consigned to the history books ?

I've watched a few too, really like the concept and they do have a handful of machines dotted around for their trials. Problem with it being that its an entirely new thing thats either jump in with both feet or not at all. Nothing even remotely similar around that I know of. By the looks of it one machine can cope with big acres, and they have other manufactures of machinery at least entertaining them for now which suggests it maybe has legs. I dont think they've crossed the channel here with it yet though will be interesting to see if they do.

There was a guy in Warwickshire I think selling gantry systems in the 80’s don't remember it having a combine to match though
Remember that, out near Ettington between Stratford and Banbury. IIRC most of the ground had got concrete strips to run on, well permanent tramlines.
