As the farming sector especially meat, is under constant attack from the anti whatever groups brain washing the public who know little about how food production works, should the NFU not be more pro-active in putting the truth and facts out there?
Any time some new report attacks farming we get a quote from the NFU or a spokesman who just says same old thing how farmers are doing what they can to reduce co2.
Why not publish some facts?
Full page ads or write a piece for the newspapers??
There is a who generation growing up with misinformation shaping their views and lifestyle.
Do much stuff to educate the public could be told.
Doesn't the NFU have a PR department??
