NFU stance on brexit and immigration

Copied from The Times online.

Crops will rot in the fields and Britain will not be able to feed itself unless the government opens the borders to tens of thousands of workers from outside the EU, the National Farmers Union warned today.

Do you think they are right?

I have no problem getting our crop of calves in from the fields, just go to the gate and call them
in other words I am ok Jack
is it true that brits will not do the work ?
or is it cos others are cheaper ?
has anyone said that workers from the EU will not be able to come here ?
and I don't mean a bit of hearsay

I don't understand why the quote says it will require workers from "outside the Eu"?

With regard to your last bit, does anyone know anything at all. Mrs cz's friends living in the uk are worried but of course know nothing definite as yet

Haven't the government said over and over and over that severely limiting immigration is what the people voted for. You do remember don't you ..... that red bus with the picture of migrants streaming in
Haven't they said over and over again that no deal with Europe is better than a deal which insists of free movement of people.

Then again it's notable in the past week alone that several ministers have pulled their heads down from where the sun never shines and stated bluntly that it will take "years and years" , even decades before Britain can stop immigration as the economy either needs them or is nowhere near ready to function without them. I'm talking about D Davis and Leadstrom.
