NH 255 Tedder

I'm having difficulty sourcing a few parts for this. Can get cam rollers from NH dealer (I've got a part number from a few years ago), but the NH parts system does not show this (old!) model, so can't even find a parts diagram. Was this tedder made by someone else, and painted/badged for NH to sell?

We have a NH 253 circa 1976, I've not herd of a 255, but our 253 I understand is a copy of a Stoll 410, these became JF I think and so now back full circle to NH! So maybe there is a Stoll link to yours as well.
@Martin Holden will probably know more.

No longer connected with the brand these days. However the Stoll UM series went out of production many years ago - at least 20. So parts supply if not bought in items like bearings maybe very difficult. I dare say some dealers in Germany have some parr’s gathering dust somewhere. A bit of a google search make help you

Hah, ours might be a 253 - no legible transfers. I had seen a sales picture online of a 255 which looked identical! Where do you get parts for your 253 from? In particular the bolts (with half moon spacer and U shaped clip) to fasten the spring tines to the carrying tubes, and the tines themselves? Thanks for info about Stoll.

The tines I get from our NH dealer, the other bits and bobs, so far I've not needed to replace any.

If you keep an eye out they do come up for sale in places like classic tractor, usually cheep too, so you could buy a donor machine. Otherwise keep an eye out at collective sales, I found a donor machine on a scrap mans truck and rescued it!

Have a look on eBay, often manuals etc come up for sale there. Just to add some confusion, there was also a 254 model I believe.
The US NH website might help too, as they kept selling the hay making stuff over there so there might be some pictures or brochures to help.

I've got a 253 that's been replaced by a 8 rotor machine if its any good to anyone, selling as spares or repairs, was working 2 years ago but to finish tedding had to bodge the springs on the wheels.
Think it's got a complete set of tines and possibly a few spare(would have to check) also got a manual for it.

The last tine that I got from our NH dealer are something like a Cramp as they are green, cost something like £9.00ish from memory.
