Nipple drinkers, Cattle

I'm fed up of dung feed and silage getting into cattle bowls , in a tight stocked slatted floored shed. I have my own water supply. Anybody out there has used nipple drinkers for cattle? What is your experience?

Saw a slatted shed with 5-600 cattle in it, all of which were watered via nipple drinkers, they left them dribbling to start with, but they learned very quickly I'm told.

They had them in the pens on the dairy farm I spent a week on in Iceland. Seemed to work quite well.

Bought the nipple drinkers. Best thing I ever did. Leart to use straight away. Clean water always available. Ideal for slatted shed.
