NLMD livestock tracing, medical book and more.....

Is anyone using NLMD online livestock recording for recording their sheep, inc medical records?

It's free, (medical records cost £30 /yr) but one worries a bit about who can read it and the 'big brother' aspect?

Or is it better to buy some 'proper' software?

Any advice appreciated

Yes use it and get on great with it. Links to Bcms and scoteid. Use a stick reader and the app. Pretty dull data really so I'm not overly concerned who looks at it and to be honest the thought of someone reading it has never crossed my mind!

Do you use the basic free version, or pay for the premium version with medical records, weight gain etc ?

I have used it now for two years for my sheep and think it's spot on have the app to with stick reader very handy when in the field to check stuff and add comments. only thing I that bugs me is the app can't add weights when in field you have to do it on Pc. For £30.00 a year medical records is well worth it , As for anyone seeing it that should not bother you if you are farming the way it should be done what do you have to hide?

Apple app isn't as good as android I'm afraid.
