Well the climate is always changing so that is correct as theory.

The hypothesis that we are going to hell in a handcart over it has much less evidence. The modelling of that hypothesis is just that, modelling.
Well, going back to the mention of the Ozone layer ~ wouldn't it be best to stall those actions that indicate worst case scenarios in that modelling? A concerted effort to stop fossil fuel driven climate change that was actually underway in the 1980s-1990s.

It's horribly defeatist to say there's nothing to be done, just because we aren't letting ourselves notice impacts at personal level.

What casued climate change before cfcs and fossil fuels ?

Do renewables not release CO2 ?
how come the climate changed before we started burning fossil fuels ?
Burning fossil fuels has made climate change too rapidly for adaptation. It's upsetting natural cycles at a fast pace. At human scale, that means struggles to ensure good harvests, struggles for water (or with too much water). Struggles with life at 40⁰C.

Bloody freezing here bring on global warming
I say .
It's far from cast clout weather, but it's been quite nice here after chilly overnight. It's difficult to think about the scales involved with climate change. There could be more chilly Springs with a load of rain, but the underlying base temperature is rising overall. This means wetter, and stormier.

Afaik, it's the natural way for Earth as it evolved from a spinning ball of matter. There might be millions of planets in similar zones, with a watery atmosphere that has a similar profile of gases ~ but they won't have ape descendants on them that have a massive, multi generation addiction to burning fossilised creatures and plants just to go on holiday.

How’s that concerted effort going so far?

I think the ozone is a different thing.

But I do thing we can move away from fossil fuels but the planet will still probably warm as I think we are still coming out of the last ice age. But it has to be done sensibly and not at "any" cost.

But natural disasters are impacting society less not more.

Weather forecasters can't even tell me what the weather is going to do this weekend, let alone 30 years

Glad you pointed out ape descendants - an equitorial and tropical species fundamentally. We like warm weather!

One interesting thing is that the "chemtrails 'n' cloud seeding" conspiracists do have sort of right is that aeroplane condensation trails are clouds, and clouds do trap infrared radiation to cause warming. A benefit from a major reduction in flights that cause condensation trails would help reduce warming arising from that cycle. Unfortunately, the conspiracists latch onto nonsense.
Hahaha, this is exactly what I’ve been saying! One might say I seeded the thought in your head… 😂

But, as you said, they have models. Modelling is ever more sophisticated. The comparison with closing the hole in Ozone layer is valid. Modelling drew attention to its existence, and predicted different scenarios according to what was, or not done to address it. Robin the Caveman in Ghosts would be able to understand that without any impingement on his worship of the Moon.

The models aren't correct though for cc. Look at them retrospectively.

Look at what Johnathan Porritt was saying in 1990's and looks at what's actually happened. They were wronf

The hole in the ozone layer is still there.
It's not a problem
