then the lapwings round here will have no suitable nesting sites
Or the last 5 years I have had between 40 and 50 breeding pairs on my spring crops 2 years ago we also had a curlew nesting
Not having roundup will destroy the ecosystem that lapwing thrive on as the reason for spring crops is bg control which needs no soil disturbance to save moisture in the spring
Cultivated seedbeds dry out and produce uneconomic spring crops
