How soon does our government allow the further exploration of Oil and Gas in the Shetlands and Elsewhere.

In not sure that soon is an appropriate word in that question

Although Cambo was dropped by Shell, there are thirteen UK developments similar or bigger in the sidelines on the UK continental shelf (was told that from a Shell Offshore Company man). All the oil companies are projecting oil usage to increase for the next two decades and that was before Ukraine getting invaded. Oil's going to be flowing for a long time to come....

The long and short of it is that western governments are going to be forced into dumping the global neoliberal economic policies of the last 30 years, whereby energy production and manufacturing was seen as the preserve of lesser countries. If they are unwilling to do so, the electorate will make them. I have a feeling though that things are going to get a lot worse before they improve.

First thing's first - we absolutely need to get the Greens out of parlaiment, whether its in Scotland, Germany, or the PM's wife. They are an insidious cancer eating away at our prosperity and standard of living.
