Oh dear. The tone of this is all rather sour grapes and big chip on shoulder.

Bit sad really.

More tongue in cheek to be honest!

Let's face it any upwards movement in price is to be generally welcomed at this stage, regardless of where it comes from.

I think (hope) it shows a little confidence / relief on our part that we can 'slag' and give a good auld bit of banter around the issue. Goodness knows many of us have been near the point of depression over the past year or more. Let the good times roll!

Ah, that's more like yourself ballyg! You're usually a fount of positivity on these fora. A beacon in the darkness etc. Glad the light hasn't gone out yet! :)

No one has ever pretended that United is mighty and can do no wrong. For that matter, it has a deep history of self criticism, as most people know. Much more so than any of the other co-ops. I find it strange that few others, if any, care to speak against their own co-op in public... I can think of a few possible reasons for this.

It seems we are witnessing a fairly sharp turnaround in the spot milk market, and particularly for fat too. And this is from a background of NI production being AHEAD of last year in May. Not sure about June. So it has happened at fairly short notice, for anyone who thinks this should all have been planned long ago. We are where we are, and it's worth remembering that powder is still trickling into intervention, so that's all still to clear before we can have a truly undersupplied market.

Steps in the right direction.(y)

Hard to know if a man that always talks about his old girlfriend is truly happy with his new one... have neighbours who left at the time of the mmb, and they know more about United business than most of thier suppliers...
men with good foresight like myself, telling the truth is a very lonely furrow. as we speak MILK IS 18p. reduction only way forward

@Ballygreenan do you ever get strange milk test results with Lakeland ? I'm with Lakeland ,one day my bf will be 4.3% and the next day it will be 3.6%!!
Always like my tbc to be in single figures but last month had only two results..both in the twenties! Peter says EU regulations says they only have to test twice per month. I'm not happy with them.

Never had any problems with them. Probably get about 3 texts a week with various results, usually fairly consistent.
