Presumably co-incidence as I don't think things could change that quickly but I had two people from Translink in the yard this morning informing me that a block of land beside me owned by them is going to be planted out in trees over the next few weeks.

Is someone farming it now?

Not sure, but the optics of 2 women in the top 2 positions are better than a Jeffrey type sniping at SF and Michelle constantly.

The men will have been keen to avoid the perceived emasculation of playing second fiddle to Chelly. I think on paper Emma is a good fit for the job. And it does sort any angry little man accusations the men would have got.

Come to think of it, I suppose none of the other Shinner men wanted to be second fiddle to Arlene either, except that Martin was stuck with the job.

And yoki says misogyny is made up. 🙄😏

I'll thank you not to put words in my mouth if you don't mind.

It's certainly not always made up, but it is frequently over-played.

And increasingly so.

Auch, I don't know about that. We have a very long history of patriarchal behaviours, still ongoing. I'm thankful we have women who publicly push back on it. Our young daughters need them to do it.

All good with you guys, since the lovely Michelle took the seat of power?
Meanwhile down south, Mary Lou is losing her shine. SF slipping in the polls. Folks not really believing their fairy tale economics anymore.

They are now having the ritual row (begging bowl) with Westminister over money.
Never thought I'd be ashamed to be a resident of this lovely wee country.

But I am now!

The DUP had the perfect opportunity to sit back and let the shinners go rattling the begging bowl themselves and show them up for the parasites that they are. Which I assumed was why they let the shinners take the big jobs.

Yet they're all in it together.

An absolute afront the lot of them.

They also seem to be denying that they agreed to revenue raising measures/fiscal plan as part of the deal with the Treasury for 3 billion etc.
Michelle has already ruled out water charges and raising regional rate.
Typical shinner dishonesty.

But why aren't the DUP letting them take a solo run on it?

The shinners are calling the shots, so let them call the shots and deal with it.

Shameful, and in the case of the DUP stupid as well.
