Took a drive over to Chester’s Fort on Hadrian’s Wall, then on to Steel Rigg near Vindolanda.

Walked the best bits of the wall and then on to the highest point. Beautiful views.

Fantastic meal at The Twice Brewed Inn and then took the long way home via Rothbury and then on to Alnwick.

What a beautiful county, absolutely stunning.

One thing I’ve noticed, just about every farm is tidy and straight, good to see. No plastic blowing about, no string strewn around.

A beautiful part of the country.
