If you had a cuppa at Chesters it would be made with our milk

Ah well, that’s a case in point.

We got there at 10am and had to wait until nearly 10.30 for a cup of tea...... until the milk arrived!!!!

It was worth the wait though!

Ha I was down at Wembley but luckily gave Trafalgar square a miss this time.

Took a drive over to Chester’s Fort on Hadrian’s Wall, then on to Steel Rigg near Vindolanda.

Walked the best bits of the wall and then on to the highest point. Beautiful views.

Fantastic meal at The Twice Brewed Inn and then took the long way home via Rothbury and then on to Alnwick.

What a beautiful county, absolutely stunning.

One thing I’ve noticed, just about every farm is tidy and straight, good to see. No plastic blowing about, no string strewn around.

A beautiful part of the country.

There’s the odd 1 with 5hite all over the place but few and far between [emoji12]

To be fair, it was there but the cafe hadn’t received it yet.

I think there might have been a bit of needle between “shop woman” and “tea woman” !!!!!


‘Twas a very nice cup of tea anyway.

Should you pass this way again, I would recommend heading a few miles N from boulmer to the Ship at Low Newton (walk if you’re feeling fit!) They make some delicious pints in their own brewery - can get v v touristy at times tho!)
