Hi

I’m looking for farm land (grass or stubble fields), suitable for hosting single day motorsport events in Northumberland, I’m doing this on behalf of a local motor club who need suitable locations between August and October this year.

Please email me via [email protected] if you have anything suitable or questions.

Best regards

Simon

It will be for an Autocross event/s. At the moment I’m canvassing to find if anyone has anything suitable and will then discuss from there.

Feel free to drop me an email if you want to discuss further.

The old Berwick Bandits speedway circuit is still in existance, on a farm Will this not be a planning issue with council though?

Autocross is single day, single venue format and highly regulated by both national (MSA) and local bodies in terms of the event itself and the competitors. The local motor club typically hires a venue for one day, but weeks and months of preparation by volunteers (such as myself) go into organising these events.

The organising club coordinates and ensures all parties comply with any rules, regulations, and regulatory bodies. We have strict regulations regarding running the events, H&S, environmental and insurance regulations that are overseen and themselves regulated by the MSA.

But before we can get into any of the above fun stuff we need to identify and secure land for use.
