Nose ring.

One of my bulls had a nose ring yesterday, today it is gone and he doesn't appear to be damaged at all.

Any ideas?

If there's a bit of wear on the ring they'll break them before they damage their self particularly if they've managed to get it stuck on something

Copper ones break eventually, steel or brass ones tend not to, but are more expensive in the first place.

Only ever had one bull with a ring and he lost it after about a year with no damage.

My stock bull did the same a few weeks ago. One day it was there the next gone and no damage.
