Not a good start... lamb attacked

Found one dead in the field this morning, looks like dog attack but only at the back end, nothing forward of the back legs really. Odd thing is she was breathing heavily on Tuesday but had seem to clear herself up - I'm wondering if the attack is post mortem?

That's a crap start to the day. I'm guessing she was down and badgers had a go. Dogs will very often start round the head, nibble ears off, neck etc I thought.

Sympathies. It's miserable. I walked out to find one of my mollies breathing its last, yesterday. He'd been breathing hard for a week or so but not at death's door, he also straining like mad when he dunged. I cut it open and I'm pretty sure he had a blockage in his small intestine (thanks for reminding me to post some pictures). Like yours it was a good big lamb soooo frustrating.

I think the injuries are post whatever killed it - just hope it was dead before they started.
