Nroso membership

Have been struggling for the past 2 months to get my nroso membership sorted as an error on their part has seen my membership cancelled. As the sole spray operator on our farm I need to be a member. After repeated phone calls none of which have been returned despite a promise of a call back every time I'm still no further on. How can an organisation that repeatedly tells us of the importance of accurate record keeping be so poor itself in this department. Anyone else had problems or have a solution to this

They can be a pain. I had to get some extra points because I was a few short but did get it sorted. You will need to speak with them, one thing I discovered is that if you get your membership suspended the rules say you can’t rejoin for 12 months. This is extremely unfair for farms with only 1 operator as that immediately excludes them from assurance. A farm with multiple operators wouldn’t have the same issue.

I had terrible trouble the first time I renewed as I was on grandfather right and they kept saying I didnt have PA1/2 etc, I kept saying I didnt need them but they kept rejecting the forms, this year they said I didnt have enough points but my cpd statement said I did, eventually one very nice lady said it was because some of the points were for one of the categories that I already had the maximum for, she suggested I got some points for reading some trade papers, job sorted, she was very helpful, most there are totally useless jobsworths
