Ah how kind they sent me a invoice for membership.

but I now can’t log in to see if they found any of my missing points yet.

Thinking it’s time they got a bollocking
Go tell em drillman.

I wonder if they've got any qualifications to operate their business, just like they insist we have NRoSO and cpd points otherwise inference is we're not capable of spraying.

We ought to start a CPD scheme for NRoSO scheme operators (BASIS), and say they can't be a NRoSO scheme operator without paying us to join our scheme and paying to do our annual training scheme which they can only get from us.
Good idea we could start with a course on customer care and communication.

they would all fail that one

Yes , now operating a RB35 ..... not new to the job though in a previous life have sprayed 10s of thousands of acres when quals were not required !
It's just paper trails stepping stones.
Do the courses ,do the tests, apply to Nroso now Basis ([email protected]) to then join ,then over 3 year period obtain required CPD ( continual professional development) points to stay in it.
Was mainly required by Assurance schemes so you can sell your grain as millers won't take for bread etc other crops too, or will beat you down if non assured.
Regulations change along with all farms with sprayers need tests in certain yr periods.
Gist of it.
Others will state if different possibly?

I don’t have an issue with on the job training or going on a course, However The course I went on recently (the first I been on for a while) was terrible. Mostly irrelevant to my situation especially the mental health of my staff bit. (I don’t have any staff)

And as for the nroso website basis are supposedly running i just cannot understand how if they not got a handle on things 4 month in that they ever will. I admit I’m no web designer but They knew they were taking the job on a few month before the official date and you would have thought they would have got a company to set something up that was fit for purpose.

How hard can it be??? It’s 2023 FFS the world revolves round the tinterweb.

no idea if they even got the paperwork for a lot of them.

Has anyone claimed your 4 yearly points for meeting with your agronomist? If you have what evidence did you have to provide to get them. Any things better than doing them brain numbing eoi operator courses to get points

@Chrismc530 you have to get your agronomist to fill it in about your meeting, then both of you sign it.

Then email to them, it used to have a 3 month time limit from meeting to applying for points, who knows what the rules are now.

As short a period from meeting to applying for points perhaps would be a good idea, your agronomist will keep you right.

I applied for a meeting in December and February but at the moment when I last phoned they weren't able to put on my last years points for December yet.

Doing an IPM (Integrated Pest Management Plan) is worth 2 points which I've now got added.

You can download the appropriate forms from this page below called Resources.

Good luck, I'm sure it'll all work like clockwork

They emailed me to say they’re adding some points today, they date back to January. Which shows how far behind they are and the mess there in.

apparently the technician hasn’t been able to make it so points can be added to my total yet either.

what a bloody joke🙈🙈🙈🙈🙈
