Have 50 kg N/ha left to go on spring barley its 20 % N liquid, my concern is that as dry as it is will it get into the plant .
Remember chafer rep telling me about spoon feeding nufol to keep crops going in dry conditions. Can anyone advise please ?

Why?? What growth stage is it at? What market is it aimed for please?

There's no substitute for rain - if it doesn't rain you'll be wasting your money. If it's at flag leaf stage then most of it will just increase the grain protein rather than build yield. If it's still tillering then frankly the yield potential isn't there either. Sorry to be a bit negative. With some answers to my questions above & maybe a photo of the crop we can have a more informed opinion.

Why ? To try to hold onto any yield potential
GS 31 pushing
Market. feed.
Should be able to get a photo later.
Just asking the question, but it seems likely the fert may be best staying in the tank.
Might do some tramline trials, for my own satisfaction.
Thanks and you're right about the rain. If it had rained, i would not be asking the question.

Barley will double in height after flag leaf stage, so if you can get fertiliser into the soil solution then it would make use of it.
