I've got Nufol in the tank at the moment to go on milling wheats, today is forecast to get up to high teens temperatures so not too high but the sun is bright and theres not a cloud in the sky, am I safe applying it or is it a crack of dawn job?

Avoid bright sunlight, winds, high temperatures. Especially avoid all 3 together! Following a windy spell isn't great either as the leaves rubbing together dewaxes them though it will quickly rewax at this time of year. It's an evening/early morning job really.

Is there a yield penalty if you scorch the flag leaf a bit now, as its always said you don't get a yield penalty earlier in the season ?

I did a load yesterday morning before half 9 (but it was at that point I became informed to what wrong I was doing)

Went back on last night at half 8 till 1 to get finished

A bit of advice I managed to get was don't spray in rising temperatures. It'll be interesting to see whether I did any damage yesterday morning, everyone else will see as well right next to a main road
