Spring oats, 6.5t/ha not too much straw, struggling to strike a happy medium with losses / sample. Any suggested settings for us to work off with fresh start tomorrow please?! Thanks

Open the drum keep speed quite high to not overthrash. Sievres fairly wide, Wind at the lower end . Not driven these machines though
We have been cutting Mascarni winter oats
800 drum
16 concave
14 top
8 bottom sieves
1100 fan
Never run the fan this high before but there were a lot of hulls with no groats making the bushel weight crap.
This seemed to work giving a lovely sample, just need to check there are actual oats in the losses when looking behind and bushel up from 45 to 50.
What bushel are yon getting from your springs?

Thank you; were finding grain in fan housing which higher fan speed seemed to cure. Bushel weight av ~ 48kg.
