Oats or sugar beet pellets.

Wanting to give my few ewe lambs and tup Hoggs a little extra. Plenty of grass to munch on but need something to boost them up.
Would oats and sugar beet pellets mixed be any good or just one of the other on it own?
Open to suggestions.

If you already have the oats then both. If not I’d just buy sugar beet.

I would of thought at this time of year if you have oats then just oats would be sufficient

Grass soon goes backwards on the land I have looks plenty but never much in it.

i'd look at adding oats to a 16% finishing pencil or doing a mix with some protein to increase the starch.

1/2lb per head twice a day 50:50 if you can soak the sugar beet.
