Had a call from firm offering clean road plainings .Not had that for a while
Want £5t . Supplied with exemption certificate.
Is it a bargain guess so for construction .No good for cows !

Ive road plaining envy ... used to get them years ago, they all go to a aggregate recycling plant now, if you get them delivered fresh and track them in, leaves a great lane

if scalpings not sweepings get them bought as many as you can manage,esp if no weighbridge involved and a short trip, give the drivers a drink and a fast tip !!! £5-6/ t invoiced is going rate round here for 20t ish / tipper lorry whilst the job is going much more if from plant

Straight off the planer is anything from free to £6/t round here, once it goes to a yard then back out again they want £15-18/t however that is sometimes screened gear back from the yard.

Well it's as I thought .Had 3 load today really nice stuff ! Supposed to be 6wheelers .1 is an 8wheeler that turns like the Titanic .Drivers moaning about narrow roads Contractors moaning because taking to long to return .Drivers not listening to my instructions on quickest way back and going miles out around !And to top it off a diversion on our road causing chaos in the lanes !
I doubt will see anymore!
Oh well good while it lasted!
