Sprayed lambs navel with WD40 instead of iodine one night [emoji85]
I was going to give you a call, think I'll leave it a while.
yea I know what you mean my whole flock lambed one night while I was happy sleeping, went out in the morning and it was all done up and sucking no worriesIt's the ewes that are meant to get tired from pesky lambs not the farmers ---- you guys are obviously doing something wrong
They came to see our system 30 years agoYou sounding like a new zealander Tim
It does amaze me the folk i see locally slaving away day and night doing work the ewes are meant to do ---why keep sheep when sheep can keep you?
Left the gate open when you returned....I went to feed the sheep with lambs in the field with a bucket of nuts. Unfortunately I had forgotten to put any nuts in the bucket.
Guess what I did next.....
1300 and rising!how many are u lambing and roughly how many per day? the most ive had is 17 in one day
Left the gate open when you returned....
I thought you'd have put the bucket down and gone back to get some nutsNo, worse than that I am afraid.
I tipped the invisible nuts into the trough....
there is no hope...

Hope you were ok! I’ve had it happen a few times carting silage and luckily woken half way up a hedgeFell asleep driving and went through a hedge. Scary.
