Oiling the drill box?

My drill does half fert and half grain going out through same seed tube. Been doing a bit of DAP and 0:24:24 for the past few days. Air blown it all out and I really don't want to pressure wash it as some areas never get dry and next seeding is brassicas or grass and they lodge in the wet bits which is a nightmare.

What oil type can I put on it as a spray - I don't want it too be too sticky just something to keep the paint ok and the moving parts protected.

Try bread soda, I use it on my drill which is also seed and fert
Don't under the science but it neutralise the fert and stops the rusting process.
A lite wash down then and spray with a mixture of diesel and oil

Wash it down then oil it. If you don't wash it there will be a white residue left from the fert just wash it and use airline to dry it.
