We are about 15 minutes away from Okehampton, good place and easy to get anywhere as right on the A30. Real variety of ground around though as some ground around Okehampton can be extremely wet!

The farm is just outside Northlew.

Is that Hefin LLwyd's old place? He used to run a big flock of recorded Lleyns and I bought rams of him. Sure it was near Northlew.

Came down a hill to farm house on the left and then into yard with covered handling set up on left and newish open side barn next to that.

Every time I set it was raining.....:)

Don’t think so - this place has a lot of cattle
Buildings as well as a fairly new sheep shed.

If you want to pm me, i can put you in touch with a lovely couple who farmed at Northlew, and still live there. They would be able to give you a better picture of the farm you are considering, its soil and conditions of working.
They had dairy, so soil conditions were not too heavy clay and it was good grassland. Their farm was at the top of a hill, land running down to a stream and away from the village.
