Old plastic oil tank use

Been quoted £100 to get rid of old oil tank(split half way up)any good ideas for another use ??

Makes an excellent dog kennel just use a bit of sealant on the split so that the pooch stays dry. Easy to cut entrance hole with a jigsaw.

Friend of mine used one as a shelter at the side of a pond for the geese to nest in ,cut big hole at one end ,geese loved it

I cut one of these about 30cm up from the bottom and use it as an oil drain tray. When we have a big service on a large tractor and need to drain lots of oil you can simply slide it under, carry out the service and then when finished you can lift it up with the loader and use the tap to drain into an oil tank/drum.

Depending on the size, you can cut them up to use as raised beds/planters after a good clean out!

Repair it the best you can and harvest rainwater.

put it on wheels, put a bed in it and call it a holiday home and stick it on ebay

(actually stick on ebay for 99p and someone may want it for something random anyway)

I had a 600 gallon one to dispose of.filled it with all manor of stuff you should not burn and set fire to it at 3pm last xmas day.plenty of smoke but i expect everyone about was having dinner or pee'd or both.job sorted
