older ifor williams sheep box

putting a sheep deck in a older style ifor williams ta510, i have a good set of bearers but need to make the decks, can anyone explain how the decks sit, do they sit inbetween the bearers or are they one large piece ontop of the bearers, how do the hinges work, have been looking for photos of the inside of these old trailer but cant find anything

They sit in between the bearers on the flat of the bearers. Alot were full width pieces which you remove when you don't want deck's I think hinges ones are just hinges to the side and fold up then fasten with a strap at the top

I replaced the flooring in mine with 1/2” black plastic sheet. Two 8x4 sheets were enough to do 12x6 6 trailer. I didnt bother with the hindges - just one length in each bay. Was concerned at first if it would be strong enough, but its fine
