One for Cab-over Pete

This is the only pic I have on the 'pooter of the Case and the spreader in its new clothes.

It was taken at the National Lime Spreading Demonstration in about 1992 in Yorkshire. It rained relentlessly all day. Many folks agreed it was the best trailed set-up on the day.

If I put a pic of us spreading the CKD we tried out, all you would see would be a grey screen of thick dust. Bloody horrible crap.

As one neighbour said....."Dust......they could see you from outer f....ing space!!"
if it is not damped down before it leaves the cement works it is bleddy dusty , and runs like water,it also goes thro a crusher bucket to make a consistent product, but does a job and is about half the price of lime
