Our opico QF1200 grain dryer has been getting hot behind the control panel and has been getting so hot that the LCD screens have been cutting out.. Does anyone know what could be causing it to get so hot ??

Is it the panel itself, in which case it's probably a bad connection somewhere, or inside the casing? Haven't got a gas leak burning inside? There are no moving parts in that area so must be fuel or electrics I think

I would look to the transformer. Has it got moisture in or around it? It would get hot, and also may cause problems with the gauges as they run off the auxiliary circuits.

If you are you drying Rape, [high moisture or small seed]
Air flow 'can' get restricted causing a back pressure on the fan and thus heat build up. Try smaller jets or let some rape out of the dryer to improve the air flow.
