I’m looking to create outdoor cattle pen(s). Have used 20ft concrete panels previously as walling, but I’m wondering if there’s other options that are just as effective. ( and cheaper?!!). Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

They’ll Be cheaper than panels but not as good as panels...but nothing will be

Some neighbouring farmers have moved from crash barrier fencing of cattle yards to all concrete panels. Reckoned they were having trouble with cattle getting haematomas when banged by others onto the sharp edges. Barriers are a cost effective option though if money is a sticking point.

When I've priced them, panels end up cheaper, unless barriers can be got direct from the road?

The ones iv seen, Brian R. The cattle do seem to do very well in them. I expect high straw use mind.
Iv even thought of one myself to use over summer to take over from a shed that i have to use for wet grain storage but i may be cheaper putting a tempoary grain store up
Have done it with hestons and electric wire in front put a row of rounds on top to protect them and push in for litter lasted 3 years I thinkBig straw bales but could be more expensive than concrete panels
