the uk equipment supplier is the one they do birds as well

Potters Poultry, Wot-A-Pullet, Country Fresh Pullets. There are loads of pullet rearer's that will rear part organic but I believe only Wot-A-Pullet rear full organic birds.

What is a "part organic" bird? Surely they either meet organic standards or they don't? Not attacking just curious as to what that means...

Piggots are the only supplier I deal with for meat birds. Another one I can highly recommend for layers is in Devon had a lot of top notch birds from them no issues cracking and good service http://www.organicpullets.co.uk/organicpullets/index.html

I was looking at their website the other day, they look ideal for us but I'm not sure about shipping birds all the way to Scotland. Will give them a shout as they come recommended now

JSR who can help you with this , They can rear organically and you should get a derogation to meet organic needs , he could probably tie that number in with another batch
