OSR starter Liquid fertilizer choice

We will be using liquid starter Fert this year, placing it in bands with the seed. Is it essential to put Phosphate and N on or is N enough? I only ask as we make our own Liquid Fert and am unsure if I can melt phosphate into a Liquid. Purchased liquid N&P mix seems very expensive.

Generally to two work hand in hand. IMO vary the P rate according to soil status and also budget. There are plenty of grades to choose from.

Mono ammonium phosphate is highly soluble. Usually pricey when compared to diammonium phosphate which is less soluble.
