So is Osr still part of your plan, with some decent rain around conditions good. Is osr worthwhile, bit weary of slugs and csb...
Have not had such good establishment for years as I have this time. Will know this time next year if it’s the right decision or not to grow anymore.

Drilled some on 20th July and some 10 days later. The first crop looks great, the later will not be taken through,. not sure if slugs have beaten us, but headlands look better than the middle of the fields.

Going in this week with 7t ha of layer muck under it.
Going back to drilling in to min till with the sprinter .this has given the best results in the last 2 years. Given up on spreading it behind the simba express or dd it.

50% less than was planted last year, but didn’t harvest any this summer. Hopefully drilling today after min tilling and rolling it yesterday. Might try 1 more field after the barley is off if the conditions are perfect.

A reduced area but sown 29th July and finished last week. Emerging nicely on the last bit and 2 true leaves on the July sown. A bit of shot holing but nothing to worry about.
