Outdoor lambing

I think mid April is perfect to start outside lambing, days start getting longer very quickly by then and you should have had a couple of weeks of good grass growth for the twins.
Agreed. Usually aim for 15th April. Think we are 20th this year. But done a lot of may / June lambing. And autumn lambing. In fact I think I’ve lambed outside pretty much every month of the year.

Be prepared to set some time aside, there are quite a few now and every one worth listening too.👍
Thanks Woolless and Neil. I've got a couple of long journeys to make over Christmas with a combined driving time of just over 9hrs, so 'Pasture Pod' will be a welcomed substitute to the predicable Chris Rea and Slade. Quite looking forward to the drive now.
