For dry sows, two strand Rappa steel wire, Rappa steel intermediate posts, rappa style corner posts, all cut and tied off, not leaving reels on posts like a temporary Rappa set up.
For farrowing, single strand Rappa.
5 strands of wire with mains fencer. Top wire offset inwards. Gates hung with hinges in opposite directions.
Gunning towers on each corner. (mine were Wild boar so you may not need this last bit!)
When piglets first meet an electic fence, they will get a shock and run forwards. Pays to have another fence beyond the first electric fence. They do learn eventually.
They will heap soil up so if it meets the fence, they will go through. They know the second the power goes down...
