Overum and kv 3 furrow plow questions?

Hi I am new to the forum, I live in Ontario Canada and usually go on agtalk which is a north american farming forum. I have just started farming my uncles fields and now rent some land I am up to around 80- 85 acres. The fields have lots of rocks and i need a good plow but I don't have a lot of $ because I am only 17. I currently have a kverneland 3 furrow hydrein with shear bolts. and I prefer the way the European plows work compared to american plows. I found this plow and am wondering if it is a auto reset? The owner doesn't really know. heres a link to the plow: http://www.kijiji.ca/v-heavy-equipm...bo/1110901833?enableSearchNavigationFlag=true

Also I found a kv 3 furrow round beam[ hydrein] with the leaf spring auto resets. Which plow would you personally buy? http://www.agdealer.com/pages/view-...EQUIPVIEW&listpage=/pages/index.cfm&ID=661108

Overum has breakbacks on the legs, not sure whether it's auto reset or manual but will trip if it hits a rock.
If the owner doesn't know its either rusted solid or in really good nick and never hit a stone.
Check out the wearing metal cost and availability of both to help you make a choice

Yes that Kv looks ok, they are unquestionably number 1 plough here in rocky Scotland, and have been for a long time. That one does look old, probably 1970's, and possibly has different bodies to modern models, so check if you can still get shares etc for it before you buy it. I used to have one similar to that years ago, but it had a breakback mechanism with coil springs, you had to stop and lift the plough to re-set it.
The [reversible] Kv plough I use at work is almost as old but pretty indestructible, there is a loud bang when you hit a rock travelling at 6mph but the plough copes with it ok.

@young farmer nick

The KV looks to have a Set of new moldboards on it ? Agree with blackbob that KV are good on stony and rocky land. But check that you can source shears and tips.

Best of luck with your farming and keep us posted as to how things are going
