i see on a french paper today l'eleveur de france,
the 3 big milk buyers
1st NESTLES take in 15 billion liters and make 21.3 billion
2nd LACTALIS take in 15 billion liters and make 16.4 billion
3th ARLA foods take in 13.4 billion and make 10.6 billion

Simple, it's not 70ppl it's 70p in the pound, it makes it sound like farmers are getting a lot but farmers do all the production , milk is perfectly drinkable straight from the farm so the remaining 30p is for the processing and retailing, as I have no idea how much this actually costs I don't know wether this is good value or not.
