got a jcb 3230 and low loader going top side of Oxford Monday looking for a back load to the Midlands.

just because it's a tractor doesn't mean we can do it cheaper anyway. our fastrac runs on white deisel and our low loader trailers have mot's on them so our costs are about the same as a lorry

Lots of people read these forums. Be careful punting for work unless you have a full operators licence, this is needed to haul for hire and reward.

If your going to all that trouble I'd say it's probably cheaper if you ran a wagon instead of a fastrac ,

lorry can't pull a baler in the summer.
we do want a lorry one day. we do everything we can to make it legal on the road go have a o licence it's not worth running illegally and getting pulled up and having huge fines or being involved in accidents.
I know there is a lot of farmers out there that are blatantly breaking the laws with 50k tractors doing huge mileage and on red diesel

Your forgetting that some have operators licences and are still unable to haul for hire and reward.
