Ozsu mobile grain dryer

Hello Tim G,

This threads got me looking into everyone's claims, i see Master have 2 different 20 tonne driers, one of them over one tonne lighter than the other, Maybe Mr Madden is mixing his machine up with the lighter version, clearly some metal work is missing from the lighter version, not sure if the lighter one is one Master have always done and the heavier is a new model or the other way round, if the lighter version is a newer model and Ozsu is similar weight to Masters heavier machine, then in way he is correct
Yes, there are two different 20t models called the SMS and the MRM. The SMS previously went to 16t capacity but in response to demand an extra model was created by adding another screen and a slightly longer auger so it can hold 20t. The 20t MRM is the next range up, with 90t/hr filling auger (45t/hr on SMS), wider tub, larger plenum chamber and higher capacity fan as well as triple stage burners (2 stage in SMS). It's not that one has been made lighter, just that some of the components are smaller. The center augers and tubes are the same on both machines.
Master users on here often mention the fantastic service support, as well as in-house engineers who travel all over the UK, there are a number of trained dealers and self employed engineers around the country as well as 24hr phone support during the season. All parts are stocked and can be shipped next day if needed. Well over 2500 driers have been sold in 35 years in the UK and most of them are still going each season which speaks volumes.
We will be at a number of shows this summer, Royal Cornwall, Cereals, Highland and Great Yorkshire in the next couple of months so if you or anyone else would like to cast an eye over the driers please call in to see us.

Thanks Tim G, will probably be sticking with Mecmar, current machine has served me faultlessly for many years and the importer for the Mecmar is based fairly close to me, soon time to move onto a electric drive version with some automation to make the job a bit easier,
Mr Madden is not far away either so will have a look at his machine as a possible cost saving, if it's a reasonable copy of a the Master i might try it if the saving is substantial
