Painting concrete floor

Concreted my dad's garage floor 3 weeks ago, hand float finish. It's just really for parking his motorhome in. Was thinking of painting the floor, how long would be best to leave the concrete before painting? And what's best way to do it? Does it require a sealer or primer?

Sealed my garage floor with pva. Then painted over top once dry. Not too sure of the timescale on painting a recently concreted floor.

Dad's come with a couple a tins a paint it says on them concrete should be left 6 months

Recently done a load, some was polished finsh and thus needed a primer, other was straight on.

Got paint from floor paints website, not that expensive but not hugely impressed with it,met ants happy though.

Can't recall how long we left ours for but a few weeks would be ok I guess.

I asked a painter mate and he said leave it a good few months. I didn't have that luxury and did it after a month.
Paint started peeling within 6 months
