Have got a regulater but sounds like I need to get a water trap

Aldi have recently had a water trap/regulator/air tool lubricator on their special buys for the grand total of £14.99, had already got a water trap but bought this and teed of another line for air ratchet/guns and air powered sander, wouldn't want to connect spray gun to that though as it puts a small amount of oil down the line, you could use it without oil though

That device needs connecting last in the line.
First tee- off a connection for tyre inflating airline, next one for water-trap/regulator for paint spraying and finally the oiler/water trap/regulator for air tools.

Good sunny day and an almost brand new compressor, might be OK without a water trap especially for the grey?

the weather is as crucial as anything, i sprayed the 14 outside in june and it looks perfect, the 13 got sprayed late september/early october and you can see the difference

warming the paint up also helps, and old electric tea urn is ideal, just warms the paint up and makes it adhere better to cold metal, it needs less thinners and also means its less likely to get runs in it!!

Best money you will spend is on this dvd if you not done any before

tilt compressor towards the bung on the ass of it and drain it. Air regulator a must though. And let the primer dry well for a few days before you start your colour. I learned the hard way that unless it's very warm in the shed the primer can shrink under your final coats if it's sprayed prematurely!
