Panic

As someone who has followed the politics of what is now the EU ever since the Treaty of Rome - admittedly sometimes not in great detail, I am now firmly of the opinion that the Eurocrats are beginning to panic.

This forum, and it seems others, has been joined by quite a number of people who are most certainly not interested one little bit in it being first and foremost a forum about farming - specifically an English based farming forum. This influx of newcomers who post only or mainly about Brexit began just about the time that it became apparent the EU's one sided "deal" was not going to be accepted by UK politicians and is continuing with new members right up to today. No doubt there will be more newbies tomorrow.

To me it seems rather obvious that some of these non farming people who hide behind the anonymity of not giving any information about themselves - not even a hint as to where they live, but obviously not in the UK, are planted by the EU, or it is their "job" to atempt to create dissent and make every effort to have the result of the second referendum on EU membership overturned. The first one was a decision to Remain.

Tusk's remarks today were typical of the way he has always acted and therefore no surprise. I am not too familiar with the Irishman that was alongside him, but he obviously thought it amusing, and, having seen a few things he has said in recent times, is also not surprising. I get the impression he wants to take over NI.

They are panicking because they realise that the UK is just as determinded as it ever was and will not be bullied by people in Europe of whatever nationality or political persuasion, and immaterial of whether or not they wear a uniform and have the backing of some other countries. They are panicking because they see that their "ever closer union of the peoples of Europe" is being eroded by the outsider that they eventually decided could join their club. It was their milch cow, golden goose, Santa Claus, Tooth Fairy or Easter Bunny and by deciding to leave it will stop financing their lifestyles.

Yes, I know there will be the usual "but you live in Portugal". So what. I know people within a few miles of me from several countries, Swiss, Swedish, South African, Irish, German, probably more if I think about it, and they all continue to have an interest in what happens in their own country. That is natural and good. We all live here and at least those I know do not try to tell the Portuguese what they should and should not do. Why can you not all just let the people of the UK do what a majority of those who bothered to vote on the matter decided to do? Why are you all so interested? My guess is money, and the lack of it that you will incur when the UK has left your ever closer union.

It’s straight up f**kery....I know my post will probably be flagged for that but it’s the truth....I’m a 41 year old farm boy from the states and no matter what we want never seems to pass....we can drag our dick in the dirt day after day and nobody cares......it will only matter when people can’t get what they are used to getting.....that’s the beginning....but I don’t know how we get there on a global level.....and I know we have it better than most on the globe but people have to wake up and see the treachery that is upon us....I hope they will.....meanwhile I will stick right to my constitution and bill of rights that my forefathers fought with giving their own lives...

I think this goes to people like me, well, let me tell you something, this forum is called "Brexit & Politics" and not "Brexit & Farming", the description of this forum is "We're out, so what do we do now?" and not "We're out, so what are the impacts on the agriculture?" According to the search engines this forum is about brexit and politic, and not farming. This is the reasons many users here do not care about the rest, because according to the search engines this forum is not agriculture only.

About your english, you are still in the EU and for the moment yours is an official EU language, but also when you will be out, there is no rule that exist in this world, not even in those "racist" or "commie" whatever nations, that say someone must speak the language in a perfect way or he cannot post. Actually i do know how proper english sounds like and i do not see in this forum many native eng speaker users to speak it good, not to mention the "slangs" that are not part of your dictionary. For privacy reasons i do not have to say anything about me, the internet is full of crazy sick people, it is a matter of privacy that is under the tutelage of the laws, and questions such as where am i from or what is my job is none of your concerns.

I wont comment too much about this, but from the last speech at the parliament, it looks like those who are starting to panic, are actually the ukip, who apparently they seem to realise they went too far in that parliament, even your farage took some distance from TM in one of his speech. Your meps with their constantly insulting and obstructionism toward the EU, which they do work for and get payed by, went too far to the point that nobody does even wants to listen to them. I guess that statements such as "out is out" or "the best deal for the UK is to leave the EU" speak themselves, not much to comment about it. The way i see it, is that the UK is starting to get that leave vote was not a good idea, in facts your parliaments seem not to reach a single deal for themselves in their own parliament, and EU is actually say no to any request of delay or anything. "The UK will be out end of this march", it was an EU meps who said that. Regards.

So Junker tells May they will not renegotiate the deal during constructive talks but immediately after the EU agrees to restart Brexit talks :scratchhead:

It’s official, that have all gone totally potty

No, let me tell you something, this forum is called the farming forum. Just look at the web address for a clue https://thefarmingforum.co.uk.
This particular section is about Brexit and politics, but the forum is predominantly about farming / agriculture.
Hope that helps.

No mate, it is the article that is messed. First of all juncker is not the EU, second of all, there are no constructive talks in EU by the engl meps. I believe that there is no technical time to even restart any negotiation about the brexit before the end of march. Regards.

As you can see nobody was looking for agriculture, and according to the search engines this forum comes at the second position. I'm not going to answer anymore. If you have a problem with that change the way you have called this forum as i have said above, so those who wants to talk about brexit do not get to see your forum, but as long this forum says "politic", i do not see the problem, i guess you have a personal problems with whoever has a different opinion from your, but nobody will always agree. Regards.

I know.

When will both sides just concede we are now stuck with exiting on WTO rules and having to enforce a customs boarder in Northern Ireland. And how soon after will Fox implement his proposed, disastrous, no tariffs trade arrangement.

It’s one big clusterf@@k

Not really, because the WTO, is not the EU.
In easy words, those talks in the EU parliament were "friendly" and the UK has 72meps, one of the largest number of meps in the EU.
When it comes to the WTO, those talks wont be so "friendly" anymore, so it going to be EU against UK. This time you have no meps. So, i presume, for the EU, there is absolutely no problem with that. The UK GDP is the 9% of the EU GDP, a loss indeed, but not that great loss. Regards.

Well as you can see in your original post, you claimed this forum was called Brexit and Politics forum.
It isn't, it's called The Farming Forum.
You're wrong. End of.

Let's see who is breaking this forum rules.

This forum in easy words says this, "hello, we are a community of farmers from UK, we have an extra forum for you to discuss about brexit and politic"

I read nowhere in this forum that you must be a farmer from UK in order to discuss about brexit and politic.

Your statement instead goes this way, "you are not a farmer from UK you cannot post here".

Who is actually respecting the forum rules? Me posting in the correct section, or you pretending to make your own rules? Regards.

Another note, i wont discuss about this anymore. If you do not want to accept it for personal reasons i do not care. The user who started this topic, beside the first part, has also another part of his post concerning another topic. In order to avoid to mess this topic with the usual guys who are always quoting me everytime i post something, i wont answer to you anymore. I'll answer however, at the second part of his post. Regards.

I reported it in another post already, the UK GDP is the 6% of the EU GDP.
Under the EU it was 72 eng meps working for a deal.
Under the WTO is going to be the EU, with 500 millions citizens, against the UK, with 66 millions citizens.
I did not say that is the end of UK, but i might think that going there is definitely for the UK not really a good choice to do. Regards.

Why are you now talking about breaking forum rules?
Where have I stated that you can't post here as you're a non farmer? Here's a clue, I haven't.
Once again, and it is clear for all to see, you don't seem to be able to interpret peoples posts. You continue to read things that aren't actually included in the post. Why is this? Is it, as it appears, to try and distract from the fact that you have and continue to make factually incorrect posts in response to others?
And, once again, in easy words, you claimed this forum was called the Brexit and politics forum. It isn't. you're wrong. But clearly, you don't seem to be able to admit this.
