Great finish on them! I shuttered mine but done them on the level with a weir. Will you be putting a weir in?

Now that we've gone to the trouble of a concrete base for them, with hindsight shuttered walls would have been far more cost effective, however builder I am using isn't geared up for shuttering so other option would have been blocks. The 1% is just what ties in with floor levels, not expecting it to affect channel, yes will shutter a weir in the end, what height is your weir? The channel is 500mm deep, will I need to make it 250mm for it to be effective?

I’ve two sizes here 400 feeding into 600 mm shutter both weirs are less than 250 don’t think you could over-spec tho

The wire rope in picture 1 runs into the parlour and you pull on it to open the door. Gravity due to the offset hinges shuts its again.
Picture 3 is poor sorry but it is supposed to be showing the door haps which has string attached to it. Which also runs back into the parlour. This allows the door to stay permanently shut when cows are in the race but can be lifted to put more cows in.

Do you hook the wire rope onto something to keep it open?
