Parmiter disc question

Ive acquired a good set of 10’ Parmiter discs (possibly Force10 model?), and I’m wondering if you are meant to use them on the 3pt link or on the drawbar? Or can you use them both ways, and if so what are the benefits of each?

I had a set like that and always used them on the 3 point linkage. The reason being that I always remember doing some disking with my father's set of trailed disks when I was a schoolboy. The land had been ploughed and left with a narrow headland, so I disked it in lands. The result was that the headland got over worked. If we had had a lot of rain after. the soil would have slumped.

Does any1 know where to get new discs for these in ni as we bought a set but it needs new discs and havin bother sourcin them

Got some off George Hamilton, Randalstown a few years ago but had to cut them down because they were meant for a bigger set of discs and we weren't fitting a full set.

Have two gangs of a Utah available, the frame was scrapped, discs in good order
