Passion and dedication pays off for metal detecting :)

Essex Lad here :) I have been detecting for a year and a half and spent a year searching for a farm permission, I finally found one with more land then I can cover and I have already found a James 1st shilling and sharing value with the land owner once sold. Through good behavior and a constant smile when I am detecting I have also befriended the farmer to the next farm while in the fields who is considering getting me on his land as he saw me find the shilling and jump for joy as I love finding hammered coins as so beautiful. Trust goes a long way so show and share your bloody finds! So does patience and manners so don't give up if metal detecting is your passion, I offer a finders service for farmers for lost items or machinery and always dig plugs properly so the grass does not die!!! I work with a great club so always looking for land for open to the idea of club digs as well as solo detecting. Good luck and happy hunting.
